Privacy Policy


Establishing and maintaining client trust is one of Waters CPA Group’s core values.

  • Waters CPA Group does not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our clients or former clients to anyone, except as permitted by law.
  • Waters CPA Group restricts access to nonpublic personal information about our clients to those members of the firm who need to access such information to provide services and, in limited situations, to unrelated third parties who need to know that information to assist us in providing services to you.
  • Our firm may use outside subcontractors and specialists to perform accounting, auditing, tax or document management services. These services may be performed by domestic or international subcontractors. These subcontractors and specialists have established procedures and controls designed to maintain data security and protect client confidentiality. Our firm remains responsible for the exercising of due diligence and reasonable care in the performance of subcontracted services which are subjected to our firm's normal quality control procedures, international standards and HIPPA compliance.  We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to make sure that the use of outside services does not result in the inappropriate release of confidential information.
  • In the interest of facilitating our services to you, Waters CPA Group may communicate by facsimile transmission, by sending electronic mail over the Internet or allowing you to  access electronically stored files. Such communications may include information that is confidential to you. Our firm employs measures in the use of facisimile machines and computer technology designed to maintain data security. While we will use our best efforts to keep such communications secure in accordance with our obligations under applicable law and professional standards, we have no control over unauthorized interception of these comminications once they have been sent.

Waters CPA Group collects nonpublic personal information from the following sources:

  • Information we receive from applications, tax organizers, worksheets and other documents;
  • Information from transactions with us, our affiliates, or others; and
  • Information we receive from consumer-reporting agencies.
